delay in acceleration

I need some imput, i have a 2000 ex 4dr 5spd it belongs to my dad but he is noticing a delay when i wants to accelerate quick, i just want to know what can i do to improve his engine reaction maybe fuel or air improvements

plugs, wires, dizzy could all be a problem

he just recently did a full tune up do you guys think an intake of fuel regulator might improve it

do the revs go up but it doesnt accelerate?

o2 sensor maybe is there a check engine light?

na dude , theres no check engine light on, well what the best way can i do to improve the responce with aftermarket parts

thorottle body or new intake does a lot

make sure the plugs, wires and spark gaps, cap and rotor are good before you go to bigger things.
I would say those are the number one reasons for choking in acceleration.

yea, well we installed a ram intake and advanced the ignition timing a little, she runs like a champ

throttle body service.. clean it out nicely with air intake/ throttle body cleaner and a tooth brush.. then empty about half the can into ur motor while its on, make sure to unplug the MAS, you should feel a real diffrence after that
