since I've had my car it has had a minor idle surge.it's always only lasted a couple minutes and then been fine. I've been waiting for the weather to change to check out the iacv, but today i was sitting at a light and it was surging but it hasd been about 15 minutes or so. which is way longer than usual. something told me to turn off the heat. guess what happened when i did? it stopped surging. could it be more than the iacv needing adjusted? any opinions are appreciated.

Try bleeding the coolant first

Or trying cleaning out ur fitv it usually the problem for all our cars...so yea check that and clean it and see if that goes away.

And tightening it down.
