hey everyone sorry for the noob question.

Iv got a d15 non vtec engine in my 92 si hatch with a blown head gasket.
now what im wondering is would a d16y8 vtec or d15b vtec head fit on my block?
since i gotta remove my head to fix the problem and my car is already wired for vtec should i go for the upgrade?

or should i just do a full vtec swap?

im assuming you have a d15b7. so slap a y8 head on it and you got yourself a mini me. :thumb:

would i need a y8 intake mani or would i be able to use mine?

you would be better off using the y8 manifold they flow very well compared to other d series manifolds

will my harness plug in perfectly with the new head and intake mani
also would i have to swap my ecu?

i just found the diy for a mini me swap that teal_dx has posted

so im goin to follow that and see how it goes :thumb:
