- Thu Mar 17, 2011 9:09 pm #244544 hello! so here's the deal...im trying to help a friend of mine with an engine swap.i never did that before. how is it done with the electrical part? u just simple replace the ECU and that's it or i have to do extra modifications? and the other day i noticed that he's car is missing the CEL diagnosis plug.
I forgot to mention that now he's running a d13b2 and the next engine will be d15b7.
Any help is welcomed!!!

- Thu Mar 17, 2011 10:49 pm #244559 there is "little" more to do, then just swap the ecu...btw, i don't think that d13b2 have ecu at all
my suggestion is not to swap d15b7! do mini-me on d13b2.
you need complete fuel tank from efi engine, obd1 harnes, complete intake mani, ecu. ( you would need this if you do d15b7 swap too) and d16z6 head.
i think this is cheaper and way better solution.
