Hey guys!
I got a 93 Hatch 3 days ago with a jdm D15B swap done to it. The guy claimed the engine has 80k on it, but I think thats not true due to the following: 2 Questions. 1st is when I floor it in 1st gear the thing riips, 2nd gear I have such little power... It takes 10-15 seconds for it to get up high RPM. Im figuring something in the engine is causing it to perform badly, perhaps someone can chime in here, and the oil pan. Where can i get a d15b oil pan/ gasket? Thanks
Jeff

As far as I know the oil pan is the same as the D15b7
Hoping you might be more specific cause that could be a lot of problems
Might be the ignition timing
It could also be ur trans

Hey guys! Im running a CX with what I belive is the stock trans? Anyow, after I had posted this thread, my friend came by and tested out my civic as he has the exact same EG Hatch, but 95. He said that its not only my cltuch bearring thats worn out, but the clutch itself. In a way what he says is making sence, because once you shift it wants to rip, but it cant due to slipping. So I guess i pretty much solved my problems, ill post up once I change clutches... Anyone have a clutch/ oil pan? Its my first manual so any "beater" clutch would do?

don't put a used clutch in your car. get an exedy OEM replacement or even a stage 1, they're not too expensive.

if it does have a CX trans.. an EX/Si would be a good upgrade

For stock try XTD/F1 ... they're eghey clutches they hold just fine for stock applications and aren't very stiff at all. And best of all, cheap.
