ok guys i got a 1994 coupe ex and it has a d16z6 this is going to be my dd and i want to no what can be done to this to make it fun cuz i have never had a d seriers i always had b18s and shit and i just want to make this fun cuz i got the car for free it just needs a new clutch line and whats the pros and cons of a d16z6 ( could it be turbo'ed) and such things like that.

they love to be boosted!

If you're not going to go the boost route, just do an intake, header & exhaust. Once you get past those, you're better off investing into a turbo setup to get your best bang for the buck.
A powerful N/A build will be expensive and not get you anywhere near the hp per $ that you would get if you boosted instead.

I'm pushing 133.2 whp and 116.1 ft/lb of torque with a stock head N/A @ 12.3:1...and I must say, it's fun driving it to work! :D

well i gave an all motor car i have a gsr hatch 12.7.1 (81.5) b16 head wit some gsr cams not thats fun as shit.
i just want to make the best out of this d16 cuz i got the car for free and it runs :thumb: i will prolly throw some boost at it just somthing that i could dd and be fun.
now my question is how many psi could i hold b4 i have to rebuild shit let me no

would i be able to boost wit over 150,xxx miles on the motor and trans ??
and is my ex trans better then the lx,dx trans

ive seen it done before

and yes ur ex is better, its short geared

As long as the motor has been taken care of ... yes.

My 200K b7 bottom end takes boost like a champ.

well i have no idea if it has been taking care of off car has not moved in 4 years that guy i got it from thought it had a blown clutch but it was just a broken clutch line. but i hooked it up to a jumper pack and she started right up after not running for 4 years thats a honda for ya lol i just needs a tune up
