Civic EG

i might be getting a si hatch with a d15 ( idk what exact one yet) but he says it burns oil and that the rings are blown. what would all need to be done replaced, i mean obviously the rings, hone the cylinders. am i gunna have to expect some new valves or maybe pistons? he says it still runs but jsut burns oil. i dont need this engine really as i have a h22 im swapping in there but maybe a lil turbo beast down the road...

nope. Id just get a bottom end rebuild kit. If your going to turbo it then you might wanna go ahead and replace valve seals. But as long as they arent chipped or bent you dont need to worry about replacing and valves.
