Hey guys first of all best forum ever my ej1 is awesome thanks to you guys.
okay to my 2 questions. im thinking about buying a friends crx and here are the questions.

1)Can a car take a while to start because the cam hears arent aligned right ?
2) If the car idles on and off by itself in rpms when you first turn it on could it be that it needs a new oxygen sensor ?

Fast idle thermo valve and the idle air control valve usually cause pulsing idle
The fuel pressure regulator and or the fuel pump might be going bad if it takes a while to start

Also could be the charge or distributor
could be the timing too

No. It could be the FITV or IACV if it's only doing it when the engine is cold.

yeah he says it does it when the engine is cold. other wise it doesnt do it no more

If only when cold it's 90% the FITV, but since the IACV is right there, might as well pop that sucker off and clean it too.
