ok ive posted and researched and i still havent figured out why the hell my motor is idling low after warm up. Ok i just rebuilt the head and bottom block of my d16z6 and im pass the stage of breaking it in. Im between 2000-2500 miles on my new motor and when i got the motor rebuilt i had the shop bore it 20 over. My motor seems to idle really low, like at 3k rpms after it warms up. Ive replaced the tps, idle air control valve, cleaned fast idle valve, went over the timing several times, and checked for leaks, replaced the radiator with after market one as well as slim fan and ive replaced some hoses, the o2 sensor, new dizzy with a cap from my my old dizzy, ngk spark plugs, ngk wires, and ive messed with the idle screw. I was throwing codes for idle air control valve as well as the injectors and i already fixed those things and i have no more codes, but still idles low. i cant think of anything else to change, but the map sensor maybe. Also it seems to do this more when its hot outside and not so much wen its cold out. Any ideas?
