Mini me set up will it pass smog in cali?

Whats up guys i was wondering if a mini me set up pass smog in cali? Because im up for a smog...Input would be greatly appreciated

It's technically illegal but there's not much chance they will notice if you don't tell them.
If it's put together right there's no reason it shouldn't pass. What are you using for engine management? A stock P28 is your best bet. If you have extensive mods, you'll need a dyno tune to pass.

Yeah i have a p28 ecu and a mild PnP with stage 2 blox cam also intake for a 92-95 civic...hopefully ill pass smog

I actully passed my mini me a yr. ago and it passed. If your car came with v-tec already and you used a non-vtec bottom end then your good because your car technically came vtec. I live in Cali as well in the Sacramento area. I would just put some mud or grease on the block where the engine code is so they can't see it

Well i got my car finally smoged and it passed...the smog guy actualy didnt have a clue what a mini me was and just did the smog...lol
