Oil weight????
Posted: Fri Jul 01, 2011 11:00 pmjust got my first honda and i was wondering what weight of oil i should use. My car is turbod and it currently has 5-30 in it. Is that too thin?

As well as my Civic I got an Impreza Turbo. I use 10w/40 in that. Its had 10w/40 since about 50k miles its now done 120k.

OEM Spec is 5W30. It will all depend on your mileage and driving conditions(hot/cold).

Posted: Tue Jul 05, 2011 8:34 pmthe engine has around 120xxx, and i live in detroit. its been pretty hot this summer so thats why i was concerned. i have an ebay turbo kit thats tuned very well to 6psi.
