D15, D16, D17 and Mini-Me swaps

#262270 Hope someone can help me.

I have replaced the head gasket and stem seals etc on my 92 jdm civic (d15b) and it started burning oil. So I took the head off again an all the inlet valves were soaked in oil. I have replaced the head gasket again along with stem seals, it seemed OK for a few miles and is now just as bad again. I am betting if I take the head off again the inlet valves will be soaked in oil again. Can anyone suggest a solution or where I can get better quality gasket set from. The bay of fleas has failed me

Please help!!

#262293 thanks for the response.

Can anyone tell me an alternate gasket set for a d15b as it is not listed on the above site. Also will these gaskets come with stem seals etc? as these seem to be the root of my problem

regards

from that site:

Intake Valve Seal Set (need 8 ) 3170V 1 $1.31
Exhaust Valve Seal Set (need 8 ) 3171V 1 $1.31

Cometic is pretty much the best company for headgaskets. I'm sure others here will back me on that one. If you get the whole kit, it will come with the valve seals or stem seals as you call them. Or you could buy them seperate as I showed you above.

#262436 Thanks for the response guys. I will certainly look at sourcing some of those parts although I have been stung buying parts from the US before as I am in UK. I also need a rear shock if anyone knows of where I could get one.

Got one from my local parts shop and the fitment at the bottom of it is wrong. Looks like UK spec cars use a different fitting to jdm
