New on the forum here and just wanted to get some more ideas and opinions. A friend of mine has been rebuilding a D16Z6 for me as well as putting in a stage 1 crower cam jrsc kit. Three times now I have had coolant pooring into the 2nd cylinder. He claims low spot on the block, however, I feel like it could be a crack opening up in the block or head once the motor gets hot because it only seems to happen once the motor gets up to temp and drives for a few miles. Just looking for any ideas on what you all think this could be. Any and all opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I doubt it has anything to do with the low spot on the deck of the block. I'm assuming its a stock block w/ stock sleeves. A hairline crack can cause a leak into the inside of the sleeves.

Check for a crack or uneven mating surface where the gasket probably can't help.
