dizzy help.

i have had my motor (d16z6) in for a few months now. i didnt have money for a dizzy so i borrowed one from a friend. he needed it back the other day. but he found me a deal on one for 30$. well i put the new dizzy on well its used of course. and it started right up. but that was yesterday. but sometimes it doesnt want to start. it turns over but wont start. took me five minutest to get it to start this mornin at work... but sometimes it just starts right up. one it starts it runs fine. i have ideas of what it may be. what do u think. i dont want to spend money on somethin if its not gonna help.

The two common things that go wrong with our dizzys are Coil and ICM. I'd start by replacing the coil.

there like 30-40ish bucks.. real simple to replace

ICM is the small box you see when you take the cover off the dizzy.
The coil is cheap, the ICM you can only get from the dealership and is way over $100.

well hopefully thats not it. lol i got a new dizzy cap and a new coil on order.
