So i picked up a 99 si for a steal of a deal vut it drove a rod through it and bent two exhaust valves. So my intentions are to use the y8 head and a y7 block i have there.

I have only a few simple questions: Which headgasket do i buy,what headstuds do i use(i dont know for a z6 set) which torque sequence do i follow? and specs. Any directions and links would be great..

For you non cdm owners honda made the 96-00 coupes si which runs a y8 engine. The american version of the si is 99-00(b16) which is called an sir in canada I think our sirs range from 97-00

y8 headgasket and timing belt. y7 headstuds. The y8 and y7 head torque and sequences are the same.
