yes.
get one from a manual, it has a 2 wire iacv.
and you need to drill a hole for the iat

I've also heard you can mount the IACV on the intake tube, before the throttle body. I mounted mine in the back of the runner where it was on my b7 intake mani and it's never been a problem :thumb:

Also if your y8 Intake manifold is 99-00, you'll need to block off the holes for the cold start assist.

I coulda sworn youd need to get the head ported to reap any real benefits from a bigger manifold on a smaller manifold head, As your just gonna end up being limited by the heads intake ports either way.

you might gain a few ponies but it aint gunne turn your D into a neck breaker. however it is a cheap upgrade for a turbo car :thumb:
