#274009 hey guys. so ive narrowed my idleing/running problem down to fuel related. the pump kicks on and works but i think i may have ran the tank empty before i put some fresh gas in. i changed the fuel filter and plugs. but was wondering what else it could possibly be? the tps looks like its riveted on?! i dont know how to take it off since its not showing any bolt heads or nuts. the car has no power and bogs like crazy wont even back up my driveway and its not even steep. i just cleaned the throtle plate and the holes to the tps and iacv i believe thats what they go to. and it didnt really seem to help. it feels like a really bad dead spot. and have to give it alot of throttle for it to rev up after its bogged.

#274115 nope theres no CEL on and it seems like its been gettin a lil worse since i first got it and just recently it got really bad. the whole car shakes when it idles because it runs so bad.

#274747 dont mean to thread jack i dont wanna post another one about the same things but my dx is on some ish too mani just changed the iacv and idling still there wen i turn it on in the morning it idles at about 4 to 5 k ..... no idea which still got a dx cluster lol and den it starts going up and down and it slowly reaches to normal idling any ideas???

#274827 im taking the intake mani off today so i can freshin it up and get to the tps and iacv and all that easier. almost thinking about picking up a y8 or z6 IM at the local junkyard for 65 bucks with everything on it. just gotta see if i can get the money haha.

#275002 i took the cap off and it seemed fine but im putting a new cap and rotor on probably the begginning of next week. and new plug wires.

#275048 soo takingthe cranksaf pulley off this morning finally, checking timing then tain IM off. anyone have suggestions to make taking it out easier?

#275122 Did you check your injectors ? You can test each injector by taken off each clip 1 by 1 while idling and compare changes when each one is off . For instance if cyl #1 has no noticeable change compared to the others that injector should be replaced .

The intake mani is pretty simple to take off just take your time :thumb: there should be a write up on it somewhere on here .

#275131 i got the intake mani off and it was narsty, the iacv looks a lil gummed up too where the little grate piece is. i also noticed that the big metal coolant pipe underneath the intake mani was pretty much rotted :x anyone know the real name of it and where i could get one?
