Supercharger

hi guys, wondering if anyone has fit a supercharger to their d series? would like to go another way. so im curious how i will bolt it on, what other parts i will need and which supercharger will fit?

i read that someone supercharged their aerodeck and used a s/c off a merc.

thanks in advance if you have any info.

Jackson Racing makes a supercharger kit for the D-series motor. As well as Edelbrock, and Streetwerks had one they were working on, dont know if it was ever released.

This is true, Jackson does not make the kits anymore so you will have to find one used or at a whole sale, internet, warehouse that might have a new kit left still. They were not very popular when they came out because they cost as much as a gsr back then. and you got about the same amount of power.

lol, no probs, thanks beacause now at least now i know what i have to look for or track down, has to be some out there somewere.

second hand would still be ok wouldnt it?

Ive seen used setups go for 200-300 USD.

Yeah they go for pretty cheap now, 1000 or less most of the time and I think that Jackson still will rebuild and repair them.
