d15b7 running rich

^^ I have no idea where to start

. What can cause this?
the motor oil smells like gas also.

my d15b7 used to do this a few months after i purchased it when i got on the freeway it smelled like gas or fumes i was definitely running rich. I replaced the o2 sensor and the cat converter ( cat was burned in the inside honeycomb) and after never had that problem again.

Does the catalyst really make that much of a difference?
I'd rather delete it, than replace it.

Try a new o2 sensor first. They can be going bad, just not bad enough to throw a CEL yet.

Just checked out this vender price is good, but this is a two wire and my car has a 4 wire o2 sensor?
I know the motor in my car has been replaced but don't know what year d15b7 has the 4 wire o2?
some detailed info would be awesome

I never heard of a civic having a 2-wire o2 sensor... that's kinda weird. Maybe their info is wrong on that part #

yes, 92-95 dx had 4 wire as well
