so i want cam out my d series im running a mix match engine lol d15b7 head with a d15b block and a d16z6 tranny just giving some info might help lol but im looking for a cam what should i be looking for ?, what brand ? also i was told there are cams out there that basically eliminate the need for vtec cuz the lobes are bigger then stock cam so what should i get ?

Well it depends on how built your motor is. You can't get a high stage cam with a stock motor. What do you have done?

honestly nothing ... lol my buddy was telling me to go b-series but i really really like d-series for some reason so he told me to get cams ? lol he wasnt specific about it tho

Probably the best thing you can do with a b7 is a Mini-Me swap.

Well there is no point in just getting cams. Do bolt ons first, then work your way to cams. Also, don't expect big numbers with a SOHC N/A. DOHC will always be a better choice because they can squeeze out more power.
You can still make a fast SOHC though.

Doing a Mini Me is just a little more work then getting new cams and you'll make more power.
