i have no ecu codes or check engine light on. I have damn near changed out everything i can think of except a new distributor cap. My car seems to idle so low after it warms up that its resting at the needle stopper. i cant figure out why my car idles low for the life of me. Is it possible that its a ground, injectors, bad distributor cap, bad ecu, main relay, pump, map sensor? Help me guys cuz this motor is p*ssing me off lol

Well hows the radiator? Losing any coolant? A leaky head gasket will bog the idle down quite a bit as the plugs get soaked from coolant. And try cleaning the idle air control valve.

My radiator is an aftermarket eBay one with a slim fan. I haven't lost any coolant. I also had cleaned out both the iacv as well as the fitv several times awhile ago. I burped my coolant also. I took my short ram intake off and the whole inside the intake manifold for the iacv had a lot of suction which I'm wondering of that's normal?

Dose your idle bounce at all? Could be a vac leak. Have you tried adjusting the idle screw?

Yea no idle bounce. Just a steady low idle after it warms up. I've also adjusted the idle screw and does nothing. I have also did the relearn procedure and still nothing.

Im trying to remember if these cars have a tps. If so i would replace it. Sorry this is my first eg ive owned in like 3 years. Ive been playing with my ep. Does the motor want to stall at all? Like does it starve of fuel?

Yes my motor is a d16z6 which was recently rebuilt and I replaced the tps with an after market blox tps then I got another stock Honda one that was used. So I tried that already. I'm thinking it's a vac leak somewhere which I can't find. Think it could possible be my dizzy cap since I replaced the dizzy itself and never the cap? Also my cat is gutted and I also noticed that one of the header bolts that connects to the head to the header is broken and that the header has no O ring gasket where the header and downpipe meet

If the cap was bad the idle would be rough. The rotor could be burnt up that could cause weak spark

Rotor and dizzy are new, but cap isn't

have you pulled the cap and looked at the points? Engine would run shitty with a bad cap, not just low idle.

So I cleaned out my fitv and now I'm getting a code 3. What's a code 3 mean. I looked up the code and it says manifold absolute pressure? What's this mean? Map sensor? It's odd because I cleaned the hell out of the fast idle valve because I had a low idle. So after that my car was still idling low and I have no check engine light, but I thought to check my codes anyway and code 3 came up

No I haven't pulled the cap either. I'm wondering if I had code 3 before I cleaned out the fitv. Also I reset the ecu by pulling the fuse in the engine for it and code 3 still appears. I still have no engine light
