So I recently bought another '92 eh2
Its bare bone utterly stock no ps or ac
Just the way I like it

The first time I looked at it I put in a new battery and some gas
There was no spark

So I put a new distributor on
Its getting spark and fuel but it still refuses to run

When turning it sounds like its skipping or attempting to fire

I havnt dug into her yet
Tomorrow il be removing the air box and swapping intake manifolds
With fresh fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, injectors

Any help or advice would be great

could be timing or the spark plug wires are on the cap wrong i know ive done that a few times other then that could be that the injectors arent firing or something like that....

Well
I removed the spark plugs...
#3 was dripping with oil
The rest had oily coating

Blown piston ring
I bought a lemon

Ive never changed rings before so im not sure how difficult it is
All I know is I should either sell the car or buy another motor

do a compression check that will tell you alot
i wouldnt say right off the bat that your rings are blown just cause your plugs are covered in oil it could be your valve stem seals or as simple as the orings in between your rocker arms and head
DO A COMPRESSION CHECK :thumb:
