Failed E-Check(smog) High NOx

My Hatch failed echeck today with a NOx reading way high and almost failed the HC. Im thinking i need to swap the cat, but i thought i would post the number and get some input and see if it might be something else maybe the O2 sensor. Any thoughts?

They really do emissions in your state for cars that old? Ours is all visual. Even if your check engine light is on

yeah im leaning towards the car for sure. Yeah Ohio is stupid they only do smog check in 6 or 7 of the counties in the whole state and the car has to be older than 25yrs old for it not to be done.

all of cali has to do it... so you gotta hae legit sh*t on the car or else youll fail. basically have a stock motor chillin in the garage and swap them out
