vtec wiring question?

So, I am pretty sure my vtec works but I was looking at the wiring and found a blue wire with a conector on it but it goes to nothing....here's a pic just so you can see what I'm talking about its the wire in my fingers.
Basicly I'm just wondering what its for lol...

That's not an OEM connector. It must be something that someone added to the car. Was there a mini-me swap done?

No it has a full z6 swap, that's why I'm kinda confused, cuz as u can see there's nothing pluged into the factory plug ist all spliced in.

Are there 2 wires going into the green oil pressure sensor? Normally there's a connector that plugs in, yours looks to be home made.

It hard to tell on d siries motors when the vtec hits cuz its a super smooth transition. I was just tring to clean up my bay a little and found that wire....owell ill try and do somthing diffent when I get a new motor!

I looked at my z6 last night... the only solid blue wire in that area was from the big 2-wire connector, going to the distributor.

Oh, just noticed that I think I see the solid blue wire that I was talking about further down in your pic, next to the black/yellow wire.
The one you're holding must have been added for something.
