D15 Ignition Issues
Posted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:14 pmalright, got my car home.... well almost drove 45 mins with no issues, get off the freeway and it chuggs and stalls, will not refire.
checked my usuals, Fuel, Spark, and its got fuel, i can feel fuel flowing through the hoses. (cannot cofirm pressure ATT)
Spark, i only had a spare key so i insert'd that into the wire and could not get spark. just barely got home after being towed so gonna get back to work on it here in a min. just lookin for direction.
Specs as i know:
Timing Belt Changed 5k ago (certified honda Tech did the work, and the sticker is on the hood)
D15 engine 5 speed trans
EG8 Chassis
I'm planning to check Distributor Cap n Rotor (probably just replace) heard about the ignitors on single cams are famous. anything else?
