alright, so yesterday while driving home to work, and also when driving to my inlaws. i noticed that my temp gauge would go from the lower 3rd, to damn near red when ever climbing hills. it never actually reached the red but got really close.

i'm looking into replacing my stock rad with a 2 row Alum one, and possibly upgrading the fan.

anyone else have this issue? or is there somthing else i need to address?

Lets start with the easy fix... Did you check your coolant level? Also, Is the fan kicking on?

lol. actually no, i completly forgot to check the level. i'll do that in a moment.

but yes the fan is kicking on.

Just checked the level and its perfect. Full in the reservoir, and full in the radiator.

Make sure its bled. Air bubbles might be the problem.

Yea squeeze your hoses while the car is off and the cap off..

ended up replacing my radiator and thermostat. which was good, the radiator was so clogged it was easier to drain it from the top than the bottom

but so far no issues!
