ok so i have a d15b7. the head was recently rebuilt and works great but the same cannot be said about the block. :x threw a rod and has no repair.

i came across a d16z6 block and was wondering if the d15b7 head would fit on the d16z6 block? its just temporary till i can find the z6 head or y8. its my DD and gas saver! i have a daily beater but gets horrible milage and is an electrical nightmare :x :x

Yes it will :thumb:

I'm pretty sure that the mechanical timing will be 1/2 tooth off though. So you may want to pick up an adj. timing gear. :thumb:

Also the D15b7 head uses an oil jet that is on the block between the #2 and #3 cyls. D16z6 block will not have this jet, so be sure to install it before bolting on the d15b7 head. Then pull it back out before you put on the z6 head. :thumb:
