This may come out as a noob question.

I havent had time to check this myself, but a D15b7 non vtec valve cover WILL fit a d16z6 head right? i have two d15b7s sittin around and i kinda want to get rid of the VTEC on the valve cover of my currently getting built z6. and i dont like the idea of "shaving" a perfectly fine valve cover.

No, the spark plug holes are on the wrong side. Too bad you're not near by... I'd trade you one that just says "Honda", I like the ones that say VTEC

Yeah z6 but mine has a y7/y8 "Honda" valve cover on it.
