My Idle is Running too High and wont go down

So my automatic civic has a high idle, and wont go down, when car is in drive the car wants to take off. when you unplug the idle control valve from the car when its running the car dies

Any IDEAS or HELP :x

check the pedal... might be abit stuck...

i fell for this after i sold my hot pink eg hatch for $200 lol :x awell had money aside anyways :P

Is your engine 100% stock? Has it always been this way or did it just start?

when i bought car it had engine and tranny out of car, d15 engine.. when i finally got spark its been idling high, i replaced ecu cuz the CEL was staying on ..now when i turn the key the CEL light turns off for about a min or so then turns on agian

id check what codes its throwing and go from there, see if that helps pin point the problem, hope this helps a little

it cant properly meter the idle from there with the sensor out lol, so it just chokes out and dies...and thats pretty much in a nut shell

i did the same thing, i had a werid idle and unplugged that and the car died and i was like uh oh....then i plugged it back in and it started right back up :thumb:
