Hello all,
Did a compression test today on my stock d15b7 with 295,xxx miles.
I recently bought this car (on the hella cheap) and did a test to see where I sit before making decisions on what to do performance wise. I have been thinking about either a mini me (d16z6 style) or just a straight swap to the formentioned engine. anywho, staying on task;

from left to right facing the engine from bumper:
180 - 175 - 170 - 185

Seeing as how i just bought this near 20 year old car, I have no idea what has been done to it servce and or partswise. I can tell you that almost every bolt and harness seems untouched. all factory labeling is in tact.

any idea of what these numbers indicate to me>?

Cheers

Those aren't too bad for a 295k mi motor! I say keep driving it and save up for your swap :thumb:

Less than 10% difference is awesome for something with almost 300k. I think the helms lists +-5% but hell you're doing good. I say drive it till the wheels fall off
