single v-tec or dual v-tec d15b and yeah cant obd2 it

you mean just a stock motor?
or which motor is a better start for a serious drag car build?

For a serious build, I say single vtec. vtec is really only there to give you the best of both worlds (low end + high end) while keeping mpg and drivability for the street driving that 99% of owners do. For a drag car, you're gonna have to throw some boost at that SOHC and you're not going to care about MPG or low end - single vtec will get the job done. :thumb:

yeah leave out the boost my friend a few days back killed his single v-tec motor so he got a new unfortunately he couldnt find the single vtec one so anyways we tested a drag againt a similar ek . which actually made us think where we went wrong anyways now we are trying to switch it to a single vtec and boost it

ive heard that when boosting the d-series the chances of the motor going red hot are alot then a toyota motor is this true ?
