got my new z6

i got a new motor last week. its a 95' d16z6 for $300 with tranny, ecu, axles, mounts, and other shit. been workin like crazy havent had time to post pics. ive been buying new parts to put it together before i put it in. so far it has a new timing belt, headgasket, water pump, rear main seal, valve cover gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, all installed. i will be buying more but thats it for now. plans to turbo in a month or so. here are some pics.

i need to find myself a new tranny and maybe a spare motor to do stuff :)

yea my camera is messed up it never saves the date. i have a spare block and ex trans. im painting the valve cover wrinkle red.

o indeed there is. i want to be boosted in a month or so. but i also need to do my rear disc swap and other suspension goodies to. then coming next year is a fully built motor. all forged low compression, supertech vavletrain, a big cam, and bigger turbo :D i want around 400whp

last night i took the intale manifold apart to clean and paint. i put the motor mount on and the harness. i decided to do an engine tuck since i have the time.

I could get more then 300 with my setup too, but i want traction, and a somewhat reliable car.

i plan on going for 400whp so i can use that on the track and i will detune it for street use. i still want to make as much power as possible then worry about traction. when the motor gets built i will be looking for slicks as well so i can actually use the power
