Hi,

i just got back into the honda scene and am going to start modifing my civic. Anyway, i noticed that the motor/tranny mounts were going pretty bad and i wanted swap them out with some poly ones. However, they have two different sets. One is a 3-bolt and the other is a 2-bolt package, any idea on what the difference is? I was thinking that the 2-bolt pack come with the two motor mounts and not the tranny mount which would be good for me since the car has a auto to ex manual swap in it as well. if anyone has a clue what the difference is, let me know!

oh and also the car is a 95 civic lx with the stock d15b7

thanks!

so you already have the at->manual swap mount?
The AT uses a 2 bolt mount, the MT uses a 3 bolt mount. The rear mounts are also different. the driver side mount is the only one that is the same on AT and Manual civics.

No, i dont have anything for it yet. so, if it's got the manuel tranny, then it'll need the 3-bolt mount set?

can you use a stock manual tranny mount for the conversion? (im doing a manual conversion too)

it is hard to tell since they don't have a pic for the 2 bolt. But maybe the 2 bolt is for the auto and the 3 bolt is for the manual. The auto tranny has 2 posts and the manual has 2 posts but also a threaded hole for a 3rd bolt. Neither of those is what you want though, you want the AT to Manual conversion mount for the transmission. Also be sure that you get the rear mount for manual (no conversion needed). and the driver side mount is the same for AT and Manual D series.

But since they don't have a pic up, I would call. better safe than get the wrong part. :thumb:

number 8 and 9 are the 3 and 2 bolt setups.

2bolt setups are 92-93 all motors and non vtec for 92-95 motors.
