I just picked up a 93 del sol with a b7 with 80K , what is all possible with this motor? I am looking for ideas. Let me know. I am new to D-series.

new internals and boost, theres really not alot you can do to a d-series to get large power gains

or there's always nitrous :wink:

Personally I wouldn't bother investing in a D15b7 for long term performance unless you can piece together a junk yard turbo for cheap.

d16z6 head w/ intake the works. Then maybe turbo the mini me :thumb:

... make sure to get the ex/si tranny too for the shorter gears

figure out how much it's gonna cost you and you'll gain ~30 HP from the swap (depending on head & compression)
Then take that money, add a little more for a home made turbo setup and you'll make way more power.

mini-me = more reliable though
