really? why does it have that air box and not a intake manifold?

Its definately a D16Y7, same engine thats in my wifes car. It does have a intake manifold.......the throttle body faces up insted of to the side.

ok i guess what im asking is y does it have that airbox instead of what every other y7 i see?

cause tthe others you see are not y7 motors prolly y8 and if it is a y7 then it has a diff intake mani.

its definately not a D15B7 cause i have one and plus the civic in the pic is an EK and i dont think any EK's had D15B7's
