Yes, the B16a TB will work for you. You might have to port match your manifold to the TB also, it is bigger than your D series TB by a bit.

As far as that TPS being the same as the OEM. I wouldnt know. I have never had to use anything other than stock. Just try to find a TB that has the TPS on is still.

The B16 fits but it will throw off your accel fuel correction. You experience this as a hesitation off throttle especially when hitting the throttle hard at low RPM's. This is caused by your engine blipping lean (as lean as 18:1) from a sudden throttle change. Only a very extreme build can benefit from a larger than stock throttle body. Nearly everyone actually loses power when upsizing their tb.

You don't want a perfectly smooth transition from the tb to the intake manifold. You want a small step to prevent reversion. Port matching essentially ruins the standing wave tuning built in from the factory. Standing wave tuning is what AEM exploited in their V2 intakes.

Any OBD1 D series will work except for the CX and VX.

Honda doesn't sell the TPS separate from the throttle body so that is why there are aftermarket TPS's available.
