#65849 To really truly beef it up, the best route of course anyone will tell you is turbo. So if you're really looking to make some power do some research about forced induction particularly for your motor and see what other people have done and start getting parts that you could use for a turbo build. That's just my 2 cents.

#65851 it also depends on what your plans are for the car i.e. auto-x or drag.

if u wanna go fast in a straight line mainly look into forced induction, if the purpose of your car is to handle like a mo fo look into suspension work and do some basic mods i/h/e and other little supporting mods.

you can do both (boost and good suspension) it will just take a little more time and money. but you can do a small turbo set up at like 10psi and not spend a fortune and then put some money into suspension work and have reasonably quick straight line car aswell as a car that isnt afraid to take some turns.

#65928 alright...where i live there is no auto-x...lol..only racing around curvy roads(which nobody does)..everybody here is a muscle head and thinks of imports as (pus cars)...i want to turbo it but thats not gonna happen right now...im dumping every penny of my money into collage...

#65934 Don't make the mistake everyone else makes. You nickle and dime small upgrades here and there with each paycheck and you're never satisfied; only to end up uninstalling your intake and header when you finally save up for a turbo. Or swapping out your entire motor.

My suggestion is that you save up until you can afford a significant upgrade. My next suggestion would be to find a cheap B18B for the time being.

#66293 Good deals on swaps arent something that come around all the time. I found mine for hella cheap, but have since not found another one for my other car. It just takes some time. You must look all over the place. INternet is your friend in this case.
