i got a full y8 head and b7 block.can i use y8 throttle body?can i use 8 b7 head studs and 2 y8 head studs?how about the map sensor?is there any link for swaping a full y8 head to b7 block?need ur help pls

Either throttle body would fit. I would try using your b7 one first since it has the correct vac lines for your car. If you use your d15b7 TB, then the map sensor will not be an issue, just leave it as is

I used 8 ARP studs for a D16z6 and 2 oem head bolts for a y8 in the back corners. This was back in 2002, ARP might have more options available now.

d15B7 oem head bolts are stretch bolts and should not be re-used. They are about the same cost as ARP head studs, which can be re-used.

i got new b7 oem head bolts.so i can use it,right?0k now theres 1 more thing.
what is this?y8 intake manifold doesnt have this.located at the right end corner of b7 intake mani.

you need to keep it, it is the evap purge valve. zip tie it to something sturdy or make a bracket if you like to do work

how about the iac valve.can i use my b7?cozmy y8 doesent come w/ iacv.thnx for the help bro.im having them ported and polished today...

try the D15b7 one. I think you might need to modify the back of the intake manifold to get it to sit flush though. The D15b7 and y8 IACV's are shaped differently.

i just got an iacv for the y8.now the dizzy.which 1 im gonna use?from my b7 or y8?

i think we have the same problem w/ the iacv.coz my car to is auto and i got an manual intake mani.so what iacv did u use?i'll just follow whatever you did.coz i think my b7 iacv will not gonna work.pls dont get tired of me asking question.just wanted do do my shit good.and ur my only answer.

For the head studs you'll need a custom stud for the one in the corner near the VTEC solenoid. 2) PN# AM6.100-1LB DIRECT FROM ARP (1 piece)*"

The rest will be Y8 studs.

You have to use your B7 throttle body so you have that vacuum line for the charcoal canister. You'll need to T in a vacuum line ie the fpr line for the purge control solenoid (the thing in your huge pics).

Some map sensor mount to the firewall, others are right on top of the throttle body. The ECU doesn't care which one. Use the one that works with your throttle body (I believe your B7 map sensor is mounted to the firewall).
