Reving Problem

Hey,I have a 94' Honda civic DX coupe, manual.The problem I have is whenever Im in netural my car reves by it self from 1000rpms to 2000rpms.I thought it was my map sensor so I cleaned the plug and the sensor out and that still didn't work so I got 3 other sensors and its still knocking,can anyone help plz.

could be a vacuum leak, can you hear any hissing?

Naw,no hissing noise's,It reves out and the engine knocks

engine only knocks in neutral, but not when driving? hopefully your bearings are not trashed. tell us more info about the engine

IACV is a possibility. Located on the intake plenum behind throttle body
That is kinda what it looks like.

It only rev's when Im in netural never when in gear,and the engine is running nice it onli knocks.
As a matter of fact when I first got the car stock it never had the problem,I put a cold air intake in it and it ran fine but when I put in my headers and new O2 sensor it starting having the problem

And yeah I took that entire thing off and there's a lil circle silver filter and cleaned it out also and still nothing

Yo check your intake manifold gasket, take some engine degreaser and spray it there, if your engine bogs or speads up you just found your problem. I just had this very same problem same simptoms and all. check all the sensors and all. This turned out to be the friggin problem.
