My question is will a b18b throttle body fit on a d16z6 intake manifold, and if so, would there be any performance gains... i think the b18 one is only like 4mm wider. thanks in advance for any help.

I have a B18b1 tb on my Z6 in order to get the real gains you will have to at least port the intake manifold since the throttle body is well bigger of coarse gains to me are more towards the high end of the rpm range i dont run vtec on my Z6 so yea there is a slight hp gain you sorta feel but depending on your other set-up it may hurt your performance....

It will bolt right on, however, it has a negative impact on both power and torque.

Port matching on a N/A application further decreases power and torque. You want to maintain the anti-reversion step between the plenum and the throttle body.
