Safe rpm range?
Posted: Fri Oct 03, 2008 5:37 pmHey guys whats staying safe, rpm wise with a d15b with a p28. ive noticed a great deal more range and also a power loss the higher i go and i know that cant be good.

Posted: Sat Oct 04, 2008 12:05 amso like no higher than 7500? ive pushed it hard only once to see how high and it was around 7500-8000 somewhere around there. no good right?

6800 RPM's is where your motor is making its peak power.

Posted: Sat Oct 04, 2008 5:02 amBut you dont want to shift where its making the peak power, you want to shift after that, so when the rpms drop they will be closer to the peak.
