Is correct up to the point where he says B>D lol im more of a fan of getting the most outa the D rather then spending alot on a B

Now to answer your question you will probaly be able to get something using craigslist or ebay or search your local market ask around but you will for that money not be able to get a good B swapped Eg there will most likely be some issues like rust some corners cut etc... but dont fear thats why this site is here just dont get something that you think may overwhelm you in the end.

And as far as B and D motors go both are great motors and offer different values parts etc. out of the box easily the B will win anyones vote but with the right tune and a ncie turbo or high comp build a D can really be a nice motor. and as i always say the less stuff the less that can go wrong ....1 cam compared to 2 etc etc.....but heck really the motor option is up to you this site has alot of stuff and alot of nice features sorry to be the one to say this but one of those features is the search tool in the forum drop down menu great for answering questions like this

Drop in a B18C and leave it completely stock. Drop it into a four door Civic with the stock plastic wheel covers and a "baby on board" sign in the window. Get one of those JDM drift stickers and put it next a "child of the month" sticker.

That would be hot.

You get a D and you'll never be happy with it. It's a money pit. Then you try to get the car looking nice... but for what? So idiots can rev on you on the traffic saturated, heavily policed streets? Then you get the H badges jacked off your car. And for some reason your key wont work in the driver's door anymore. GREAT.

Nothing is more fun than a sleeper. Some bitch tries to road rage you... or some idiot wont let you merge on the freeway. Put the pedal down on an old Civic with a GSR engine. They don't see that shit coming. You'll be feeling good after that.

Torque-less D will make you feel like you're small in the pants (or small up top for you ladies). But if you insist on a D I suggest you start with some high compression pistons and a mild cam. Don't bother with an intake/exhaust until you have that and some engine management. Otherwise it's just another fart can with euro lights. Loud and buzzy but slow as shit. There's plenty of that crap on the road already.

Amen, that's pretty much my goal except with a B, dissapoint so many people down a drag strip and on track with 'that wrecked POS civic'

Only time I think OTT styling is called for is when you got something rear wheel drive with a beefy turbo and a million horsepower.
