D16y8 block z6 head

I am boosting a d16y8 block with a d16z6 head, I was told that when I get head studs I will have to get a set for the y8 then buy another set for the z6 and only use 1 stud. Does anyone know if this is true? If so is there anywhere that I could get just one head stud?

Call ARP, they will sell you just one and ship it to you.

and the same would apply for the y7 block with the z6 head, correct?
Are the two blocks identical (y7,y8)? Would ARP run different studs for the two blocks? i'm thinking about buying a y7z6 motor and wanna go with ARP's. I'll need the one Z6 bolt with a set of y7 studs? or y8's?

I bet they are the same, but I would cal ARP to be sure before you buy.
