where can i find itb's for a d series

From what i know. there is very little support for individual throttle bodies on d-series. you would probally need to get a custom setup. it also requires alot of head work, tuning, and such to see any real results. hope this helps a little

try looking for throttle bodies off of some of the old honda sportsbikes. iknow the CBR 954 throttle body works on the B18... at least i think its the B18.. anyone?

if you go the sportbike throttle body route post some info ...... actually, post your info either way.. im interested to see what you come up with.. but i definitely think you should check a cycle salvage yard, you could come up with a nice set of ITB's for next to nothing whereas new ones are crazy $$ , like 2000 plus tax shipping .... bisimoto wants 3000 for their new top feed ones.. NUTS

There's a company that makes them, but they're very pricey. I don't remember the company's name but you can find them on onecamonly.com

The first thing you need to have is engine management. No software based on the factory ECU is capable of alpha-N based fueling. So you'll need a Motec or an AEM EMS. With ITB's, the response is so fast and there's no plenum, so MAP sensors are utterly useless.

Driveability suffers a bit on TPS based calibrations btw. Hey, but it makes you cool!

Yeah i bought those ITB's of him, they were great. I think he knew someone who makes them but I'm not 100% Dirka would know better then me.

I coulda sworn that i posted in this thread before

If I'm not mistaken those were off of a Honda CBR929rr or CBR954rr either way they were basically a bolt on I think but you have to make do some welding to fit the injectors. Rice2nice bought them like 5 years ago before any company made them for d-series.

yeah they were 929's, but they were to small for my Z6. they would have worked great on a B7, but you need atleast cbr1000's for enough air for the Z6
