If its a D16z6 it will bolt in just fine. You also want to get the ECU(p28) to go with it as well.
If its a D16y8 it will be from a OBD2 car, and you will need a OBD2 to OBD1 Conversion Harness or just run the injectors and distrubtor from your old d15. Agian you will need a SOHC VTEC OBD1 ECU, go with the p28.
You can get away with just taking the head off his block and put it on your d15 engine.
Other things to consider are that you will need to run wires for Vtec, and run them to your ECU.
I have both a Coupe with the D16z6 (Sohc vtec) and a Sedan with a D15b7(your engine as well, SOHC, non-vtec) The D16z6 pulls much harder and VTEC is an awesome addition. I cant recommend atleast putting the head onto your block. We even have DIY articles on how to do it to your car in our DIY secion.
