GAS PROBLEM?

Whats up guys. Well i have a 93 hatch vx model. And my cluster isn't reading my fuel level. It constantly stays at a little over full. Have you guys gone through this before? And do you know how can i go about fixing this? Appreciate it thanks

maybe you could take apart your gauge cluster to see if the needle is stuck or broke

or the sending unit in the tank could be broken

This happened on my VX and I had to swap out that part of the cluster. That's how I lost my "shift up" light.
But there's a 50/50 chance it's the sending unit. There's a good diagnosis procedure in the repair manual.

yea i have the same problem on mine and i have 93 hatch cx tho i haven't from anybody to fix so what i do is the wait it shows 1450 miles on my cluster, i put gas n reset it then start from there again till i get 1450 miles... so i was wondering if there is a DIY or somebody can help me out to fix this..
