Well you could do a mini me or you could find a full z6 swap since that would be your best bet less work in my book as long as it is running and was well taken care of....also you sure you dont have a dpfi intake manifold on your civic it looks sorta like it would be carbed but it isnt

I do beleive tho if you do have carbed you will need to do some work to the fuel pump and stuff but im not totally positive on that

its a keihin 2V carburator with electronic control system, twin choke carb.......would i have to tweak the fuel pump if im goin with a mini-me?? i was thinkin to turbo charge it later down the line but i dont know if the mini me is able to withstand it.........

turbo's and mini me head swaps usually dont play nice together if you plan on going turbo id do a full z6 swap that way you will ahve a good base to start from. and you will need to tweak the fuel system when turboing and i am almost certain on changeing it to fuel injection.....unless you plan on keeping it carbed and doing a mini me swap you may have to do a tune on the carbs tho to allow for better response and stuff but you wont be able to run vtec since the p28 is a fuel injected ecu I mean its mainly the fuel injection part that i think may be the most work and probaly be the most benificial for a power/ throttle response gain if you just changed your intake set-up to mpfi fuel injection instead of carbed. see how that suites you and then go from there since after its converted to run on fuel injection you have more choices.

but if i do the mini me but get the head with an intake manifold....... it would have the fuel rail and all sure then all i have to do is get the ecu then VTEC!!!!!!
or am i wrong??

in the US, civics have been fuel injected since '91. Other countries continued with the carb'd engines.
you should be good with Z6 head, Z6 intake manifold, Z6 distributor and a P28 ecu.
IF your D15b2 is a 16 valve and not the 8 valve.
(because the valve reliefs on pistons won't 'fit' valves on the z6 head)

you could track down a JDM D15B, SOHC VTEC 130hp, and they're cheap too

i have to wait until the insurance people asses the damage to the car from the attempted theft and we'll see what the plan is cuz over the phone they told me that it might be a totaled
