hey guys

recently my car has been struggling to start sometimes. i recently put in a new battery as well. someone suggested it could be the fuel filter?

it cranks and everything, but it sometimes takes 3-4 tries before it starts up or just doesnt start up at all for a little while.

any suggestions?

cheers :)

once you get it running is it ok? or down on power and hesitating? check fuel presure and spark plugs for wetness, excessive carbon.

there is no power loss after it starts up and drive around, it just struggles to start a few times.
someone suggested it most likely is the fuel filter that needs replacing?

anything is possible.. but if it was not getting enough fuel to start why would it run fine? have you checked your iacv?

Check/replace all your engine grounds. Check the power connection to the starter.

I wouldn't think it's the fuel filter but if you've never replaced it, why not? And do the fuel pump sock while you're at it. Very easy on these cars and yet no one even knows about it.

Does it crank easy and the engine doesn't fire? Or does it crank weak?
