d15z1 question on modification

ok so i have a 92 vx and want do a gsr swap but dont have the money right now. I was talking to a guy and he told me that with about a thousand dollars i could fix up my engine and be spankin gsr's left and right...... how true is this???? any help would be great... thanx

no its not true, dont wste money on trying to make the Z1 faster, just keep it for the gas saving and save your money for a swap if you want to go fast

x2 Totally agreed.
However it depends on what he would do for 1000. Forged Rods(to get over the 200hp limit) and a Good nitrous setup probably could be had for close to that. If have a budget of 1000, just get a JDM D15B or D16z6 and make a Home made Turbo kit or Nitrous it. both could be done for about 1000 and be "spankin gsr's left and right"
