- Tue Apr 21, 2009 6:46 pm #112197 so i have my 97 del sol with 151 thousand miles on it. and sometimes when i start it i get alot of oil smoke from my exhaust.

it only happens sometimes. and only on start up. then after a big cloud its all gone and does not smoke anymore.

is this somthign to do with the valves? or do i have a bigger problem?

- Tue Apr 21, 2009 7:21 pm #112206 it's the gaskets they're leaking oil into the engine, thou it could just be carbon build it, you might want to try deep creep and see if that fixes it, thou i must warn you when you first put it in it'll smoke like a hippy on 420
